If you are new to Lean In, or you are not ready to join a circle, that’s fine too! We offer opportunities to attend our discovery sessions in person and access our online national Insight events. The UK Network events are on this website.
If you are ready to join a Circle or become more involved, see below!
Lean In Circles are small groups that meet regularly in person or online. They learn and grow together, and help women step out of their comfort zone and change lives
Circles can have from six to 12 members; they need to be of a size to allow all to participate. Great circles have women at different stages in their careers to share experiences and offer insights.
Our circles meet regularly; sometimes monthly others every six weeks. We encourage online webchats as a way to include more women that may not be able to travel to a meet-up. Online also allows us to share with international circles and networks.
Consistent meeting times and content is the proven way to build your circle. Circles that meet for more than six months report higher satisfaction, and many circles grow and support members for years.
We have 62 circles in total and over 3,000 members (as at 31 March 2019).To find a circle near you – or to start your own – visit our page on the Lean In Circles Hub.
Want to do more? Become a Circle Moderator
Circle moderators run meetings where they gather 6-12 women (and sometimes men!) – based on location, career, profession, industry or lifestyle interest.
The moderator is responsible for creating an environment where this accountability group supports the individual personal development.
The group helps each other grow.
